Our Story

Bob Thomas Chevrolet-Cadillac was originally founded in 1916 by Bob Thomas’ grandfather, Walter Coombs as the Bend Garage Company. As the small town of Farewell Bend changed and grew into simply Bend, Bend Garage Company grew over the years and eventually became known as Bob Thomas Car Company. The dealership has had four locations in town, including the historic Eddie’s Corner downtown. The current location was built in 1967 and the Honda franchise was added in the 1970s.
